Ok, just got my coffee.
Tis my favourite time of year. October brings crisp, dew sparkling mornings, leaves that crackle underfoot and colours that tease the eye. The air is filled with the sharp tang of burning logs, a scent that makes one walk faster when heading home, anxious to sit in warmth with a good book and a blaze burning in one's own hearth, cup of tea at the ready. The night draws in quickly bringing a blanket of peace to the earth. October also holds within it's arms my favourite holiday of all, Halloween.
Yay, sheer joy. Autumn has arrived.

The wind is howling outside, very fitting, because I am reading the Twilight series. Yes indeed. Whooooo. I know I am a bit behind, but I had to borrow the first two books from my grand-daughter, then because I was so into it, I had to go buy the last two books, shudder, the last book still being in hard cover, but needs must, or wants must lol.

Anyway, I love vampires. I love Halloween. I love dark, dreary, drizzly nights.

Mmm, something wrong here. I am drawing colourful, cheerful gardens. That has to STOP.
No, see, it is because of romance. Love can do strange things to you, right? Yes. But do not be dismayed, I am drawing vampires, and bats, plenty of those, and haunted castles, it is just that you will probably never see them.

As you can see, I have gone from boring old pencil, to more pencil, and pens of all colours and pencil crayons. What is happening here. Ahh, I think I have it, I am becoming very comfortable with my way of doing art. For good or ill, I have branched out and am playing around with all sorts. Fun.
